Agreed.

You want to put up a provisional time/date and place Glint?
I can adjust my travel accordingly (have to head back by about 2-2:30 though)

What do people think of mission bay?. I feel that it is safe in most weather and a flattish beach with no surf for a maiden voyage. How about Saturday the 7th july 10am? It is also close to bastion reef if anyone wants to fish after we wet the orca . Still on the computer at the local library so still no pictures.I hope to have a medium and large spraydeck by then if anyone would like to try it out.The final weight came out at 12.5 kg lenght to breadth ratio 10:1 .I am flexible as to time and place as i am only 10 min away from most auckland beaches, but also realise that we need to put a line in the sand so people can make arrangements.Looking forward to see if it floats :^) ,how stable it is or not,and if it is as quick as it looks.I promise i will post pictures as soon as i get my computer back.

Currently working working a design to tame the beast a little until my skill level catches up with design.

Back in the workshop today to consider my options, modify ,rebuild ,outrigger or start again. I have come to the conclusion I would have not been a good eskimo.
