Hello, looking at a double sit on top kayak for the family, must be cheap. Currently looking at:
Aquastar kingfisher
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =825476462" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Winner nereus 2
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =826079467" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Extreme 4.0 duo
http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =826609755" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Has anyone had previous experience with these, or can recommend another of same value.
I do understand that some will recommend paying more for better quality, but I can't justify the extra cost for the amount it will be used.

Thanks

If you want cheap, get a second hand yak. For the same price as those listings you can pick up a Viking or OK model in good nick. And if you don't use it much you can probably sell it next Christmas for the same price you bought it for! Can't say the same for those other brands- you'll get half your money back if you're lucky. The perception swings have a good rep too: http://www.trademe.co.nz/825346102" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Fair point, however I have yet to fine a reasonable deal on a second hand one in the Otago region, and sellers in the north are not prepared to freight.

Thanks for the advise hairy little dwarf, I've just purchased it. Now it's time for a little road trip to pick it up. Thanks
