Im having a bit of a battle with a mate.... I fish 90% with jigging grubs and he fishes jerkshads. So now the compition is on between the grubs and the shads.... If you could only fish the one shape bait which would you choose? Im not interested in any other shapes :lol: :lol: Thats not what the comp is about. Im interested to see who is in my grubb (y) :lol: camp

Yep shads for me too, use grubs too but shads are my normal bait shape :y:

Grub but its a 4inch" never seen a 3 foot grub or ever a 5foot shad :!:

G1 have you got any of those 5 foot grubbs ,cant seem to get my three inch grubs to work on my hook

Seem to get more mileage out of them than grubs but I do use them.

jerk shads for me never used the grub becuase the shads work so well and when your onto a winner...used to use the little swimming mullet tho but seemed to catch the better fish on the larger lure

IMHO grubs will give you a much better action on the drop with light jig heads :!: Still use jerk shads, but I certainly dont catch more fish the jerk shads but I do mix them up...

Hard to pick a fav. I like both types and I catch big (well to my eyes they are :) :lol: ) and small fish on both. So I try and take a mix of shapes and colours on my missions.

Only way I can decide between the two is that I've haven't yet hooked a kingi on a grub... so I'll tick jerkshad.
