More of a survey than a poll this time, a great question came from Pointloader:

What's the one non-essential/non-safety accessory on your Kayak you wouldn't be without?

So what is it you take with you when you go fishing that you simply couldn't do without or you have found extremely useful?

Gloves.
Forgot them one day and had a hell of a time pulling the braid to set my drag and freeing snags.

Everyone is a genius.

But if you judge a fish
on its ability to climb a tree.
it will live its whole life believing it is stupid.

Yep I'm with Rusty, chocolate bars and museli bars, comfort food for when the day is dragging and if the fish aren't biting they always seem to when I put the rod down and start eating

Food, Drink and Sun Hat for me.
Generally eat Snack Bars and Creamed Rice. I mix powerade with water in my camelback. I have found the bladder fits nicely in the rear well and if there is ice in the well the drink stays cold plus it stops the cold drink from resting against my back.

Yup, prob the same for me... Drink, then brunch bars. Most of the time a day on the water without sunnies results in severe headaches so they'd be top of the list too.
