overview
This is a magic spot only spoilt by concentration camp type regulations and non flexible attitude. would have to be an ideal place otherwise. Great variety of fishing all within good range. keen to revisit for a day trip. safe beach good fishing spoilt for choice of fishing spots.
Thank you mental well done
Really enjoyed my day.

They were flexiable roger , they let us park our wagons on a patch of grass inside the campground so we could have a late departure .
We just had to free up the sites for the next load of campers .
It was nice of them to bend the rules slightly :P

Glad to see they saw some reason in the end, :D it seemed so short sighted to be so hardnosed. That area has so much going for it otherwise it really is a yakers playgroud.

Yep I had no problem with the camp either, yes if we had needed to get out then the 6:30am gate may have been an issue but, as I had originally planned, we fished direct out of the camp so we had no issues, and yes last night they came up with a compromise on the checkout time that suited us fine...

They had a great fish cleaning facilitates, kitchen, BBQ area, and shower blocks.

Cheers, Mental

Yea thanks guys, great weekend.
I would definatly head up there again for another trip.
Like Mental said, the gate thing could have been a problem, but in the end it wasnt, so no drama.
