Yaaaaa no more sleeps! ;)

Ok lads, im leaving work at 12 today, head home pack the car and grab the wife then we are on our way.
With a quick stop at westhaven we will be there early afternoon.

A fish tonight is probably not going to be on the cards judging by the forcast.
And its looking like its going to be a wet night in the tent.

But hey at least there wil be fishing right. :D

Yep same here, finishing at 12 too...

Hey it was only raining south of the bridge this morning... the road on the bridge was actually dry... probably won't last though :)

See you up there, I'm in the one man tent again so won't need a hand today :) Quite funny actually, my mate was coming up with his 5.5m tinny (my old boat) to do some fishing and act as a bit of a safety boat, he's bailed 'cause he says it too rough for the boat  Tried to get him in a kayak but he piked out...

I'm leaving work at 3:00pm and heading straight up.
If it's not tooo rough, I'd like to try and get out. Even if it's just for an hour in the bay.

Now here is the big question everyone......

Do I bring up some salt ice or not?
Traditionally if I get salt ice, I dont catch anything....
That being said, not that keen to leave fish overnight without being in Ice......

But is it worth the risk of not catching anything?????????

Should be able to pick up some ice from Snells Beach if needed, there is a small tackle shop there (or there used to be last time I was up there about twelve months ago) else you'll be able to get party ice at the dairy or gas station up there too.

What I normally do if I'm staying away for the weekend is I'll try and fillet the fish from the first day and keep it in the camp fridge...

There is a pretty good little store at the camp ground.

I don't know for sure but would imagine they would have salt ice for sale.

The whole camp ground is really well setup to accomodate fishos 8-)
