So that we do not have to search, how about we put all our ideas for the weekend in one spot ? with things being the way they are we all appreciate that things may change rapidly but it will help to get a general feel for the weekend .What is going through your mind ? ideas etc
just a thought Glint ;)

Nice idea Glint.

I think for me it is going to be a bit of wait and see what happens.

I have a loose idea that I may head to Scotts landing and have a look over at the oyster farms on Saturday as it should be sheltered down there - had a look last time I was up that way but didn't launch.

Apart from that I'm keeping my fingers crossed that sunday is calm...or that someone else comes up with a better plan ;)

Yep Mahurangi is looking best so far, easy to get to from Martins Bay etc, if the wind is right Jones's Bay may be a possibility...

At this stage Friday night does not look viable for me.(35 +) However the yak and car are loaded and my thoughts are that the wind will be dropping steadily from late friday onwards. weather permitting at this stage i should be able to roll out for an early start and meet you guys at the camp gate by 0600.Will be playing it by ear fingers crossed.glint

I am going to flag it this time round guys. Sounds like I just put my dress on, but given the extra cash it costs me to get of the island and the lack of confidence I have in the weather, I think I will stay at home and keep some brownie points in credit and try and get out for a fish sunday around here.

Hope you guys do well and go hard.

And as I have a camp site already booked and probably too late to get any credit back, it might as well use it to park any extra vehicles to keep within the camp rules ;)
A bad day fishing is better than a good day at work!!!

Personal Bests -
Snapper - 4.5kg - Papa Aroha
All other species - watch this space :) - keep watching if you like to paint drying :)

Fair enough mate,
Sorry to hear your not going to make it.
More fish for me I guess ;)

And Glint,
We wont be able to get out until 6.30, so might as well have the extra half hour in bed mate.

Very true....
(Chris rushes out to buy as many baked beans as he can find, so that he can feed them to Mental in his sleep)

It would take at least a force 10 before KK didn't go out... and then not come in until he'd caught something. :)
