I had some fairly tasty Water oxen (which is basically a Bull) at a hunting Lodge in Taupo. I found the taste and texture similar to Vension. I also read on a bar menu in Singapore of Frog leg porridge. My missus wasn't too keen to try it, so we stuck to peanuts and beer.

Getting back on topic you could try Moore Wilson (in Wellington) pretty sure they could courier to you.
There are a couple of other meat markets that deliver as well throughout NZ.

Stuff I have tried in my travels include;
Cat, tasted like curry
Rat, on a kebab stick
Dog stew, slow cooked so nice and tender.
Chilli stingray - YUM.
various insect kebabs, just think of crunchy peanut butter with wings
Monkey, no they dont taste like bananas.
