Hey Guys

Thought id try this again. Weather gods havent been too kind

The plan is to launch from Tarakena Bay. (its next to Moa point). In the past this spot has been incredibly successful for blue cod, Kahawai and the odd Kingfish. It is also very sheltered from a Northerly, and has lots of bird life and dolphins are common

Meet at the gentlemanly hour of 10am at the Tarakena parking area. Easy launching from the boat ramp but no toilet facilities
We will discuss safety, talk fishing tactics and a general trip plan. The weather will be evaluated and if the weather is appropriate, we will spend a few hours on the water. Two plans have been developed. Plan A (the longer plan) will take place if the general wind conditions are sedate and paddlers are up for it. Plan B will take place if a stronger northerly develops. If a southerly occurs, the location will be switched up the coast to breaker bay, scorching bay or somewhere else on the Mirimar Peninsular.

Paddlers are advised to bring a flag or high vis hat incase of the paddle to Barretts Reef. High tide is at 1.30.

Would be awesome if everyone could come...
