How many people manually adjust their sounder settings and if you do what sensitivity setting do you use?

I have an HDS7 Gen 2 with standard 200Khz skimmer transducer.

If set to auto it settles on about 83% sensitivity which is was too sensitive.

I tend to run it on about 73%.

What do others do?

I run mine (Garmin 557xs) on Auto, but I have the options to adjust the auto-settings (sort of like auto-high, auto-med just without the names).
Depends on depth and speed. I've seen some really cool things too, where when it's high, you see all the bait fish and predators, however as you turn it down the bait fish start to disappear, and you're only left with what you're wanting to catch.
