Hi guys,

Does anyone have any experience or feedback with the mentioned fish finder? As a $200 fish finder I don't expect the world, but come with part of a package so figure I'd see how it goes.

Any comments or feedback would be greatly appreciated

This is a good entry level fishfinder, even better with the gps, but like any fishfinder, learn to interpret what you see on screen, this in itself takes time....youtube is your friend

Paddling around seeing fish sign on the bottom, dead stop the kayak, drop a slider on top of it, nearly every time caught snapper this way
Careful doing the dead stop, you don't want an unplanned swim

The gps is an excellent feature. Hook your fish, mark it, then paddle back to the mark & get his team mates :y:

Yeah will definitely have to get out on the water and get some experience with it. I've not really used fish finders before so anything will be a luxury for me, even just knowing depth.
