The Annual Hibiscus Kayak Fishing Club, Mahurangi Jump Off & Jump Back in trip this Saturday 15/12 – rego 6.00-6.30am.

Yet another year has passed & it’s time to have fun, beer & BBQ afterwards.

Hey Guys, just a heads up for our members (non-members are very welcome to tag along) that we are having our annual Jump Off Jump In kayak day at Mahurangi.
We fish till about 11am & then have some fun learning how far you can push your kayak afterwards.

It is amazing what you can do on a kayak when you give yourself the opportunity. 2 years ago we managed to get 5 guys on a 4.7 before it toppled over.
Would you believe you can use your kayak as a standup paddle board? Come along & refresh your skills.
Give your-self the necessary confidence to be successful jumping back into your yak.

Best of all it’s a great laugh.Check out this link to our web site http://hibiscuskayakfishingclub.org/HKF ... index.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Also we have moved our club meeting location to the Stanmore Bay, Whangaparoaoa. We are now based at the Hibiscus Boating Club (opposite the Stanmore Bay Leisure Centre).
Our first club meet was there last Tuesday.
It was a great success. What an awesome venue for club meet’s. The atmosphere is very relaxed & there is a bar. Whoop Whoop!!

PS from now on our club meeting’s will be held on the second Tuesday of the Month- except January. Non-members are always welcome to come along & check us out.

Tight lines & Merry Xmas!

Cheers
Pete

well done people looks like a fun time and a fantastic day

exaxctly what a club is about. :y:
Everyone is a genius.

But if you judge a fish
on its ability to climb a tree.
it will live its whole life believing it is stupid.
