Hi everyone.
Jason, our club captain, is having problems with his internet/email and has asked me to make this posting for him for the next club trip.

General launch time of 0700 with an ETA back on the beach at 1300, or before.

If you intend to do this trip, please ackowledge and reply back.
Confirmation is needed for both safety and the old sausage BBQ at 1300hrs! (please bring some change-$2 a hit and I'm hoping we can put $1 for each to Coastguard)

The FCO (Fishing Camping Outdoors) $60 voucher is on as normal for the kayak angler that weighs in the heaviest table fish.

In addition, we will also be raffling/lucky dipping one "Scotty Fishing Product" amongst all NKFC members that attend and for this trip it will be a Scotty Rocket Launcher Rod Holder, valued at around $80/$90 as it is not available in NZ at present. Great bit of kit on a kayak to keep your rod and reel as high as possible out of the splash area.

REMINDER Club renewal membership fees are due before the end of this month, but more importantly, we need ALL MEMBERS to complete and return the new style membershp form back to us ASAP (update your details and new discalimer).
Does not matter if you only filled one in just before the AGM in April, we still need you to do this. Forms are on the NKFC website at http://www.northlandyakfishers.org.nz" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Please complete, scan and email to northlandyakfishers@gmail.com or hand in/fill out at either FCO in Whangarei,Top Catch on Riverside Dr or the Rental Department, Maggie Dixon Reat Estate on Bank St.

See you on the water soon soon
Cheers
Karl

Where is Mangaiti Bay. I can't find it on Google maps. I know where Whananaki North is, & the DOC camp.
I am keen to come out this weekend for a paddle but I might have to camp the night. It is an hour drive from Ruakaka & I'm not a morning person.

LOL-great post especially the last bit! It's about 2 bays up from the DOC camp, 10 mins if that.
Join the club mate and we will take you to some great spots that you can even fish after the mornings
Whananaki site is about 40 mins from Whangarei.

Cheers
Karl

I'm coming on this one for sure. The family & I are heading out to the DOC camp tomorrow so I will get an extra days fishing in. Variable 5 knots on Sunday, so it will be perfect.
I will be joining the club on Saturday night at the Stephen Tapp evening. See you all there.
