The Kaipara Harbour chart appears to be out by miles. Any chance of another one?

Hmm...Possibly mistyped digit when I did the calibration.

New version in post above yours.

Cheers

Thanks for the Great Maps is there a detailed Gt Barrier Island Map available. I have them installed on a little toshiba netbook with a 9 hour battery so no need for power. It works well. Keep up the good work. :D

Sorry for the delay in replying to this Gersa - Missed it somehow, probably during a flurry of posts which dropped it off the active threads list before I logged in (which is far too often  )

Upload coming very soon.

High res West coast of GBI now added to third post on first page of this thread.

There's another GBI chart is on the Bream Head to Slipper Island chart NZ522 in the Northland charts thread, and one on one of the Coro charts, can't remember which at the mo.

Hope that helps

Just if you're interested... there is an IPhone app called Navionics Marine (New Zealand) that I use all the time when checking where I want to try fishing next, and works with GPS so you can see where you are in relation to the charts. Also has the ability to link into Google Maps (from within the app) so you can check roads and access ways etc.

Sometimes when I'm not doing other things, I just check the coast in some detail to see where I'd like to try next (since I'm fairly new to kayak fishing there are many many spots I haven't tried ;)
