That is the question :worried:

I know there are fish in Bream Bay, have caught good feeds out of there in the boat over the last couple weeks.

But I am keen to have another crack at a kingi from the Yak. Have they moved back in at Taiharuru yet?????????

Tomorrow is a Kayak mission and I can't decide if I go snaps in the bay or chase a kingi at Taiharuru. ( with the possibility of a quick snap fish over the reef.

Any one fished Taiharuru in the past couple weeks? How's it fishing?

Any one else hitting the water early tomorrow in the greater Whangarei Coastal area?

Wish I had gone with my gut instead of my head. Went to Uretiti to find a reasonable swell rolling. Watched it for long enough to decide there was a break in the sets, turns out there was just not long enough to get out. Turtle on second wave and back to the beach I went. On casualty was the loss of my sunnies.

Change of plan and hit Taiharuru, to lumpy to fish the island so headed further out. Got 4 snaps 36-49cm and lost 2 good ones ( one I'm not sure I would have stopped). Both dropped the hook :worried: :n: , but at least I stayed dry second time round :D
