The club trip to Pakiri is planned for the upcoming weekend either Saturday the 22nd or Sunday the 23rd. Will make the decision based on the weather forecast.

Pakiri is a surf beach which is why we have said weather dependant. This is one of my favourite spots where we have pulled up some very nice sized Snapper and last year there were a few Gurnard. We launch from the beach which is about 100m away from the car park so you will either need a trolley or a mate willing to do some heavy lifting.

Please let me know if you are interested in coming along on the trip and have a look at the EAKFC site for the Trip form which will need to be filled out and returned prior to launch. You can find the form under the Upcoming Fishing Events page.

At the moment the forecast is looking average so will look at a plan B if we think the surf might be a bit much.

at the moment Sunday is looking like the better day for it. Might come up with a Plan B if I think the surf will be too big.
