Holy crap, looks like the long weekend might be good for a fish. The weather has finally broken so I might have to dust off the yak.

I planned to head out on to the Thames on Saturday, it will be my first proper fish on the kayak. But first I'll be heading to Viking Kayaks tomorrow to get some more gear for it. And if the weathers good I'll probably head out to Kawhia or Raglan on Monday.

Winter seems to be more fruitful for me than summer was. Just off the port on Saturday.

Well done, There's some good fishing to be had at the moment. Few of us off Wai iti yesterday all managed a good feed with some big Snapper around.

Exactly the same haul I got off wai iti on Sunday , just had to sit and wait till the bite came on then all hell broke loose for about half an hour .
