Take the snorkel kit and wetties for the kids - the water is usually like gin, and lots to look at around the rocks.

Matt: If you are somewhere overlooking the Cavalli Islands or Matauri Bay, you're very close ;)

And as for you Ambo - if I'd have known you were moving up here I wouldn't have given you all those tasty waypoints
....Wanna slay some fish within 12 Hours of arriving at your new job? (And give Kerry my regards)

HLD, there will be some serious slay-age missions, priority 1 lights and sirens. Oh yeah, thats the reason I'm moving North - it was getting too far to paddle to your waypoints from Auckland, I kept getting arse cramp  .

Sorry to hear you're finding life difficult up here (erebro. My wife misses Auckland, mainly due to her friends being there and also all the shopping etc.

On the topic of the 2nd weekend of November, how are you guys planning accommodation? It looks like my Missus will be too busy to join me as she will be in the middle of report writing at that time (School teacher). So it will most likely be just me and the kayak.

I may have some unexpected leave which I won't know about until the very last minute, but if it happens then I'll be there!
