Im heading out on sunday early morn from whakatane heads if anyones keen to join me, There been some large snaps out there latly. after all fathers day is all about puting a smile on dads face!

the forecast for whakatane must be better than the 25-35 we've got in TGA at the moment :n:
The perils of kayak fishing are great...... especially for the fish!

No the forecast is the same here but there is a change in wind direction due this afternoon which should help keep it fishable

Well the 20-30knotts must have got lost on the way to the eastern bay! another orsum day to be at sea. good catch, though most were returned and none the size of last week. ky, snaps , carrots, rays and plenty of cuda, Im going to take some light steel trace next time. I lost 6 or 7 rigs today b&*%dy cuda! yet my mate fishing 40m away didnt get a single cuda, strange a. and we both had berley down.
