Hi all,

Tying onto bean rock to do some lazy mans fishing. Good or bad idea?

Not a good idea. Waves and wash continually bash you in to whatever you're tied to. Tying up to cray pots and mussel farms works though. If you want to be lazy, go for a long drift. It's all good until you have to paddle home :D

Thanks for that - figured as much. How about markers/pylon? Something with a lower profile?

Stay off craypots. The bouys are private property and the owner(s) could get more than a little peeved.

Yeah- don’t think there will be many cray pots around Bean Rock but I could be mistaken
