Going to dust off the gear as its been way to long and have a crack in the shallows then head down to the Tiri Channel . Loooking for a couple of big Spring Snappers !
Launching around 5.30am .

I was going to do that too but the forecast looks like 15 knots easterly gusting 20 which I'm not too keen on.

Have a good one KK, gotta finish dog proofing the fence this weekend, then some on the water time, hoping this weather holds till next week for some "work time fishing/working" :D

Weather man got it wrong . Launched to a flat calm sea with no wind at 5.30am . Not soul around . Wind got up little later but still only 10 - 15 knots if that . Fishing was hard with the South Easterly wind . Plenty of sign but not taking any softbait I offered so changed to a slow pitch Jig and immediately got into a few .

Nice one, I wish I'd gone. My mate went there and picked up a couple of nice snapper and a few kahawai too.
