Ah dude, I only saw this now. Today would have been a great day out there. Anyway, I suspect I should not "lead" any squid fishing trips until I've learned to catch them more successfully. Followed Jason's advice and tried Castor Bay on Friday morning... Got one squid up next to the kayak, but it got free there in front of my eyes!!
I'm working ( driving all over , buying stuff) today on the House.
Paid work tomorrow! Weather is beaut! ;(

When you say "head out from" I assume you mean on your kayak? Unfortunately I'm taking my kayak in for repairs today and unlikely to have it back by tomorrow.

I,m easy was planning on going out in the kayak but I can go off the shore if that suits others doesnt bother me either way

Just dropped my kayak at South Auckland Marine now and they said I'll have it back today or tomorrow.

So I'd be keen on a kayak outing actually. Let me confirm by lunchtime tomorrow or as soon as I have the kayak back. And let's see who else responds.
