I'm horribly confused here....Are you on the left or the right?

HLD: im a sense I am both. You see, initially I was the one on the left, but after consumption the one on the right has joined his mates in my belly, and contributed to my roundness.

Mate, if I was down there you know I would be there.

As a testimonial for Todd, if you like kayaks, and like Kayak fishing, (or want to do more kayak fishing) get in contact with Todd, either on the forum or by PM, and meet the dude.
Sometime all we need is an excuse to get out on the water, and Todd has a bag of excuses, and is good company to boot.

T, I still prefer Jim beam to Woodstock....

This illustrates one of the issues - the spread out nature of Wellingtons 'kayak fishing' community.

My average day starts at 5am, ablutions, breakfast etc and catch the 6am train - at work a bit after 7am. Leave work after 4pm and catch 4:35 train (if I'm quick otherwise 4:55). To get into the gorge would mean driving back into town (45 mins each way). Either that or bring a vehicle in and start later etc - doable but awkward. Its a pia but the reality of life here.

On the other hand we never say never and Vicki and I want to come into town for a fish one weekend. We are also happy to offer our place for a bbq if you want a venue up the coast.

Hi Paul

Im starting to understand why such a venture is difficult...

Il let you know what is discussed during the meeting and maybe you can make it to the odd weekend fish?

Cheers

No worries mate - mondays are just a bit tricky this time of year.

However let me know what I can do to help - I can usually rustle up a projector / screen / sounds / dvd player (ask Andy) if you want to do movies...

We could have a mini kayak fishing comp one day? Kapiti Coasters vs Wellington woofters?

Kayak comp good idea, but how about a home and away event over two days (separate weekends). That will take out the home advantage. Will discuss tomorrow at the meeting.
