Well the health trend is upwards (thats good) but the barometer and the thermometer is trending downwards.....

Given my vast weeks and weeks of - cough - fishing 'experience' one has to ask if it's time to put the kayaks up or is there worthwile fishing to be had in the winter months around wellington. I'm pretty sure it will be hi days and holidays only and layers of undergarments but is it worth all the friggin drama and clothes drying....

Glad to hear you're better Paul, lots of kahawai round in winter and tarakihi, gurnard and blue cod are still worth a shot.Off Raumati south I guess you'll be targetting gurnard, kahawai, and red cod. It's pretty miserable out there when you're catching nothing in the cold though.
Frasier-what would you say to that drink?

Niles-don't get too comfortable in that glass

Well... Its not that much better catching nothing in the summer either ;-)

I grew up eating red cod (probably explains a lot) and don't mind it at all so well worth a belt on a good day then.

Feeling a whole lot better but just got a few kinks to work out. Bloody hell, talk about a few 'interesting moments' last few weeks...
