The weather looks rough next weekend....

Labour weekend is always shite.... Although doable... Tide does not look helpful.

Sunday 30th - good high tide peaking just before 12? Looks hopeful?

Hi Guys

I have been toying with the idea of a land based get together perhaps at the Otaki Surf Club but I am going to have to let it go. ;( Just a few too many things happening in my work and our new home commitments to get the balance right, my apologies.

Cheers

This Friday after work, bro and I are going to try out from the Raumati South ramp (opposite the end of Jeep Rd)- weather permitting (forecast good at this stage).

Anyone wanting to meet up out on the water- please do!

If the fishings good might stay out until dark so must remember the headlight torch.

Hopefully meet others out there.

Ray.

Hopefully we will be there (or at least me - its Vickis very very busy time) after the daughters teacher registration event.

One heads up - the ramp is blocked by 4 huge concrete blocks as it was damaged over the winter. (it will be repaired eventually) so you need to lift the kayaks over them or go around them.

On the up side there was still good sign of Kw feeding there wed so.....

Cheers.

There is some hideous weather blowing through and then it comes right on sat.

But guess what - I've been abandoned with the grandsons while the whole female side of the tribe migrate to the martinborough fair to wallow in acres of other peoples useless munt - some of which will migrate to my house where it will sit alongside last years 'treasures' (untouched since last year)... bah!
