Heading over to the big island tomorrow morning, early.

With the report of tuna being landed in Taranaki, best to start getting the paddling fitness up and ready for their arrival down here. Has anyone heard if they are being landed here yet? Im sure its too early, but its time to start making plans at least.
Target tomorrow though, will be Kingys.

Yeah, it was hard, Kerry.
Wind came up to strong, add that to the current, saw me drifting at 4-5k's at times. No shelter anywhere as the wind stayed North and NE. Basically wasn't able to do much but anchor up close.
Next time.

Bugger mate, managed my first tuna of the season today but it was caught off a boat so I suppose it doesn't count...
