was driving home (undisclosed time and place due to others using the info to plunder ) and saw a massive workup of kahawai real close to the shore and probably about an acre in extent. by the time i got organised at home with yak etc and got back they were gone. only seen it happen this close once before and ended up with about 20kg of pilchards that they were feeding on and forcing onto the beach.

Always the way isn't it 'fred. Still, it's things like that that keep the appetite whetted and you just cant wait to get out there and slay something.
