Yes the legendary Valkohai is for sale, now that I've got an Angler 14ft and it's nearly kitted out, it's time for my girl to go.

In great nick with a better seat, extra rod holders and trolley...

trade me listing - https://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listin ... 2579118678

Identical one went for $500 on trademe in Hamilton last week, with no extras.

Any one who is interested from this board, can have her for $500 and I'll pull the trademe auction, if you get in before any bids are made.

Hi mate!

What made you upgrade kayaks from this one? I am looking to get into kayak fishing and this model caught my eye as it is quite a cheap introductory model. More than happy to spend more if you think it is worth it.

From the trademe listing

"I am 120Kg and found that with all my gear, I was a little too heavy for this kayak, so I bought a larger 'yak. But if you're 105Kg or less, this'll be ideal. Its lightweight and easy to lift onto a roof rack. "

Presently there's a chap coming up on Saturday, to exchange money for this.

Should he not show, I'll offer it for sale again.

Ah sorry! Shoud have read the listing :D

I may potentially be picking one up on Tuesday, with the added bonus of a fish bag, life jacket and fish finder bundled up in the deal.

Have you noticed difference in stability/speed with your new kayak?

I'd just finished fettling my new one when the lvl4 lockdown hit, and I've been waiting for an Operation since then, and now I go under the knife tomorrow, so with a following wind I go fishing in a week :)

I did meet a chap two days ago who sold an Elite 4 and bought a 14 ft Angler same as mine, old and new, and he'd just been out and he liked both his old and his new, the newer one is a little more stable. But then he had the same problem as me, he was too big for the elite 4 :)
