While looking for a new buff (lost mine over Christmas) I stumbled over a NZ only deal on the Saltwater Armour site. 5 buffs of your choice for 15 bucks. Wasn't sure on shipping options so sprung for the 2-3 days air which added another 6 bucks. If they do turn up it will be a sweet deal considering I was looking at $20 - $40 for one retail. :y:

Salt Armour got a bit of a bad rep last year:

As long as the buffs aren’t made out of rhino horn I think I’ll sleep ok. :)

Whats it like breathing through the buff type face coverings? My memory of balaclavas is that they get pretty damp around the mouth.

Whoosh...! :o: :o: Instant ancient memory of walking to school through snow with that moist area of the clava around the mouth slowly freezing. As for the buffs - I have no issues with breathing through a thin bit of damp fabric, but then I spend half my day in a dust mask.

I use them all the time, and never had an issue....they're very lightweight..

The only issue I've experienced is when I wear them too high up over my nose and my sun glasses start to fog
