Anyone noticed the very limited range of line out there? both Braid and nylon.
my local H&F and Burnsco have like one or two brands and very limited weights only.
while up in Tauranga at xmas i went to all the local tackle stores (about 5) and apart from the H&F they were all similar with little to no stock in line.
wonder if online shopping is having an impact?

Yep. Pretty much impossible to find decent 4-8lb braid.

There is a place in Sth Auck ( I think Mt Wellington way??) that specialize in squid fishing, they use skinny line and have decent gear to do it with.
