Few picks of my new rod - thanks to K-Labs and one bloody good sort, I couldn't be more friggen happy!

Built here in our own back yard - NZ. You all know who's behind them, so if you know awondering than you know the R&D and commitment to quality is relentless. My latest addition is a Black and White custom 6-10kg softbait rod and I decided to match it with my white Shimano 2500FJ Stradic (for that Storm Trooper look - of course) with brand new Fireline 16lb braid. Looking forward to getting some blood on it... Note - KFNZ handle name, paua insert, kiwiana graphic and general awesomness.

I've added a couple of pics of the other K-Labs rods, the cork handle rod which must be knocking on 4 years old and would still do the damage. In fact I know awondering is still using a blank from that very stock in his own arsenal! If interested in your own get in touch with awondering on this forum or via http://www.klabs.co.nz

From one kayak fisher to another - you have to admit, there is a reason most of the pics on here of big fish include a K-Labs rod. A coincidence?

Anyway - as stated above, bit of a rant n rave. No tall poppies here :^)

Disclaimer - yes I am bias because I know awondering and drink his beer as often as possible (which isnt enough)

My all time favourite is the 40T......Ive used mine so much I have now retired it cos I couldn't bear to see it get damaged or broken. I know it sounds gay but id much rather have it sitting there to look at than risk damaging it....it really is a rod of beauty. And I do have a couple of other Klab rods that do the job just superbly.

We all know you have trouble understanding the concept of "non self-promotion". No tall poppies here mate :drunk:

I also remember something about window lickers and red rods? :*

Couldn't agree more regards the above. I've got a couple of K-Labs beauties now and the only reason I'd consider another brand is if AW doesn't have something in the lineup that suits the job.

He's a bloody gent too and all round good egg I say!

Sigh. It seems like I'm one of the very few that doesn't have a k-labs rod. Lol

Hey Kiwiladbrad , I thought you said a while back you must be gay to get your name on a rod ? :^)
Anyway , I have quite an arsenal of K-Labs rods myself but quite like the idea of getting a personalised stick . :y:

Rod envy mate :$ We can debate this topic over a few darts and handles this weekend... However it seems like it'll be quite the rainbow event by the looks of things :wasntme:
