Hi All,

Standard rules apply, please see the competition page

Competition Dates: September 1st to September 30th

1. Only one fish per entry

2. Multiple entries are allowed over the month but only your last entry will be put into the pool for voting, this means that the Snapper you catch on the 5th you put up, then on the 20th you catch a bigger Snapper and you post that, and on the 30th you manage to catch a bigger one still, the poll will only contain your entry from the 30th.

All entries should include the following information (along with a picture of the fish)

Name / Username of Angler:
Fish Type:
Length:
Date/Time of Capture:
Location of Capture:
Type of Lure/Bait used:
Comments: (optional)

The prize for the best fish this month is again a great prize from K-Labs: this month’s prize>>> And it's pretty special as it's one of their NEW rods!
The runner up will receive a selection of goodies from Top Catch Whangarei

These are excellent prizes again this month, so lets show our support and lets see how many entries we can put in between us this month, remember it's not always size that counts, it's a public vote for the best fish, the biggest fish doesn't always win!

Good luck everyone!
Phoenix Kayaks - Hornet
Stealth - Evolution 465
Ramco - Fishmaster 580 My BIG kayak!
...and the countless other kayaks I've owned

Rusty, I saw that beast in your icebox... that's one large Snapper. Hawk, glad you managed to find spot y and that it gave up that snap for you. I know you'd be stoked with that given there's little around in Hawkes Bay. Great to meet you. Cheers Michael

mate you get my vote,

pb for you , also the fact you drove 900km just to catch that fish :y:

for me ,( and this is how i vote ,) this forum comp is about a lot of different factors not only biggest fish
effort put into it , pb,s
Best story.
and photo

most of the time I always like the on water shots. ( not always possible to get )

This is a light hearted friendly comp with fantastic sponsors .

Good luck :y:

Gee that on water shot of me is a goodie (got my best side  )

Well Michael, I owe you a big thank you. Really made my day. :) I ended up taking home 7, released 4 legals (feels good aye?) over a couple of hours. Would love to go back to the Coromandel again tomorrow, but have a feeling it might not be for a few months.

Yeah catch ya soon Hayden , be good to paddle and dive Waimaz again when I get down there, and that offer for the Sit-in is still there :y:
I'm sure a Techo guy can see the advantages.
Cheers

Length: ??
Date/Time of Capture: on saturday morning of the meetup
Location of Capture: Oamoru Bay, coro penninsular
Type of Lure/Bait used: big hunk of kahawai
Comments: endured the strenuous few hundred metre paddle over to the island, braving the calm waters to paddle out to spot X, then anchored up for a couple of hours and caught a few fish. Then had to paddle all the way back and head back to camp for a hot lunch...... so much effort ;)
Cheers
