...for spooling reels. She always complains about helping me with this job. Pictures are self-explanatory. Nothing original here, but have mixed a few ideas I've seen on online. Cost pennies, a spare mounting bracket from flat pack furniture, a bolt, couple of washers and nuts, a spring and a tennis ball! The tennis ball adds friction. Nice little project for stormy weather.

Nice mate, I like it. How much pressure can you have it put out? IE, only good for light braids, or can you do enough for 50/80lb ?
