Painfully slow video and maybe the process needs a bit of streamlining, but this is a nice idea:

I got thoroughly bored, though they'd have little space for all my fishing gear with that set up.

Do you guys know that youtube comes with a fast forward button??? Or at least a timeline so that you can jump forward? Altogether I probably watched 1 minute of it, but the concept it good. At 14:35 he's got the kayak at the top and turns it to get it over the kayak.

Gezzus 18 minutes of talking crap, great idea though. . Why is it all american youtube videos have so much unnecessary talking?!?! Do they like the sound of their own voice or something?

Public speaking is generally something Americans are good at and seem to enjoy more (or hate less) than kiwis. Part of the culture I suspect. Note I'm talking about style, not necessarily content ...

When I was young, some 45 years ago, before technology, I used to say of Americans and their propensity for self aggrandisement,

" If they thought it would get them on TV, any American, would get down on the floor and roll around barking like a puppy".

Fast forward 45 years and witness Youtubery...

Hey, not all American vids are endless talking for no point. ( we have three years of our new PM to do that ;) ) I have found the moonshining tutorials and interviews on YouTube to be most helpful 8)

Sure, Not all...

and a lot of them are very useful.

I particularly like the ones, that teach me not to skateboard, along the top of rails and land, one leg either side.

I also learnt a lot about Kayaking from the Youtubery. :)
