Had a brainwave the other day while installing my fish finder on my Profish 400.
We sell a range of products called striplox designed for mounting heavy furniture and pictures etc on the wall.

https://www.fit-nz.co.nz/tools-hardware ... connectors

I wanted to be able to be able to switch my fish finder from my tackle pod to my standard well cover as sometimes I like the bigger chopping board on the standard cover for doing large cut baits, but i didnt want to have to purchase more Railblazas.

see the attached pics of how i done it.
It got me thinking well what else can i use them for, so i added the essential bottle holder :D
Simply used a hole saw to cut a piece of plywood to size for inside and screwed the striplox on, done! simple as that. Absolutely no way it can come off with normal use and keeps it cool as well as up right. Some refinements could be made to the size of the board that the fish finder base is mounted to, but it i know the concept works.

Nice and low profile when the attachments arnt on so don't get in the way.

Opportunities are endless with these things, we got some larger ones too.

Let me know how else you think I might be able to use them, was thinking maybe some brackets to hang the kayak on the shed wall, they have a weight limit of 125kg right up to 200kg each.
