Anyone keen for a fish - Northern Region Saturday 7th?

Am single for the week starting Saturday and wondering if anyone is keen to get out on Saturday before the swell gets big for the rest of the week? Keen to travel as far as Kerikeri or down to Waipu

Re: Climbing off my PC and onto my YAK !!!

As an ex WoW addict I can so relate to you, biggest waste of 2 years of my life! It's so addictive - I would probably go back to playing it if I was suddenly single. At least the kayak-fishing and this forum have replaced it with something more acceptable.

Welcome, great to see the Whangarei scene is getting some good numbers now. Like the others said, post on here when you are looking at going out and I expect there will always be takers to join you.

Paddling with orca - Whangarei Harbour

just got back from 2 weeks at Taurikura - Whangarei Heads. Fishing was rather off, only times I got some action was when I went night drift fishing in a boat and when I hooked a large kingi early opne morning dragging a bibbed lure in only 2 metres of water 50 metres from the beach. He promptly head...

Re: Try reading this out loud.

Being an ex-pom who has lived in Adelaide for 5 years I can SO relate to this, though in Adelaide your air-conditioning doesn't break down, the power company turns off power to whole suburbs to save power halfway through the night. :@ That was during a year when we had 17 days in a row above 40°C a...

Re: NKFCI Club Trip to Langs Beach - 27 November 2011

Not for I :( though I believe Karl and John did OK. I watched a whole school of large kingfish swim underneath my kayak but they were not interested in anything I had in the water at the time. Hooked a kahawai on a bibbed lure I was trolling but he self released when I got him to the side of the kay...

Re: Polarized sunglasses

I buy the $19.95 or $29.95 ones from the warehouse, look ok and work well, when they get scratched I buy a new pair, I keep one for kayaking and one for general use and in the car
