You guys should try Mentals fish cakes. Every person I've made them for says they are the best fish cakes they have ever had. I mix with kumara, and always ensure they are in the fridge for a good hour before cooking. Haven't tried with smoked fish yet though. http://www.kayakfishingnz.co.nz/forum/...

my understanding is you can set a longine as many times in the day (24hrs) as you like. you can't have more than 25 hooks per set, and your only allowed to keep your limit for those actively helping with setting and retrieving said longline . that was what was told last time a fisheries officer spok...

I really don't know why there is so much fuss about these new limits. Why just this morning I got a mean feed just 5 minutes from the beach. A monster fish, well over the new 30mm size limit.
