Most of my reels are Shimano with one Daiwa . Some of my Shimano reels I have kayak fished with for 8 years . I buy quality and look after them . :y:

I catch more and bigger fish in my yak than I did in my tinny . Fish a lot more in my yak also . You don't have to put up with the twats you inevitably fish with on boats . :!:

Great plan and execution just unlucky the sharks were around . I had the same problem a couple of Xmases ago when I was hell bent on catching a Kingfish with a livey in Whakatane . Over the course of 2 fishing days I lost 6 livies to sharks and ended up catching a Kingfish while trolling a softbait ...
