G,day gmac, That club i found by accident on the net, If you look at the Fergs kayaks site
its linked from there. They meet the first Wednesday of the month , 6.30pm at the Panmure Yacht Club. Hey , dont know about slaying them tomorrow , But at least going to get a line wet!!! Feel free to show up !!

Hey new2yaking, yeah looks like a little trip this Saturday could be on the cards. Going with the tides though , maybe head out at lunch time. And guys, at this point in time (after having my posts read by her indoors)I must apologise for my lack of spell check! I will endeavour to do better. :geek:

hadnt checked the tides, 6am or 6.30pm highs,
So maybe just head out at lunch time for a few hours?? How does that work?
Have to try to work my leave pass, have a function 7.30 Sat so will have to be in before then .

Good scheme,, actually i went along to the Eastern club last night ,, Thought they were a great bunch of guys, Oh and a couple of ladies. Thought the guest speaker was very good, though couldnt beleive how differnt he looked from when he was doing the weather on TV . Very informative on long lining ...

The forecast is looking good,, so should be sweet for a Saturday morning fish..
How about the little bay at the end of Kawakawa Bay? Take the narrow road all the way to the end.
Someoe is bound to supply the name , LOL what time were you planning??

As for that Manukau,, just watch the change of current , i launched at Big Bay, and with a mate paddled out , cayght a couple of carrots, but after the change of tide it was a real struggle getting back .
