Re: Wanted: Cobra VHF belt clip
Geez I have the same problems with my cobra HH500. Rusted clip and signal issues. I also had problems finding a new battery in the country because the franchise store i bought it from don't stock them. I also found an issue with the charger as it doesn't align properly with the battery terminals, an...

Carbon Fibre Paddle WTB
Hi.
Does anyone have a Carbon fibre paddle that they want to sell? They're not cheap, thought I'll ask on the forum first.

It’s another day in paradise in Samoa. Fishing isn’t flash but eating heaps of raw fish, tuna sashimi and drinking heaps of cocktails.

Re: Introducing my new battleship old town PDL
I like the idea of being able to pedal slowly to hold yourself on sign, and dropping jigs etc. Also being able to safely fish in close to cliff faces while casting softies. And my elbow is munted from too much table tennis... What are you waiting for?!? SUPshed in orewa agreed to sell a demo model ...

Nice kayak.
It looks like a solid unit. That seat looks really comfy too.

Re: Trailers
Hi - I am considering getting a trailer for my kayak, for a variety of reasons. Any recommendations? And are there any out there that can double as a general purpose trailer too, while also being able to tow a kayak? If there are - this would be easier to get sign off on from my wife.... Thanks. Jo...

Re: Upolu, Samoa. Recommended fishing charters
Will do. I've been told to go to American Samoa for primo fishing. If I can't find anywhere in Upolu I think i'll be downing cocktails and sunbathing.

Bugger! Thanks AW. I've been told to travel to Savai'i to go fishing but my missus said no.

Upolu, Samoa. Recommended fishing charters
Hi. Going to Upolu in Samoa for a good week of R&R. Does anyone recommend any good fishing charters in Upolu?
I'm not really keen for Marlin fishing. I prefer to try and catch Tuna, Mahimahi, GT, etc. Any recommendations?

Man that looks delicious. Looking forward to seeing more of your posts.
I've just finished my first smoking video a few days ago. I don't go fishing much nowadays but I've been making a few videos to keep me occupied.

Re: NEW KAYAK FISHING STORE IN NZ
There is already a Hobie retailer/agent in NZ - http://www.nzwatershed.co.nz/ The best place (most population) would be to base it in Auckland. Sorry Mental, I'm quite surprised by those answers of yours. Firstly, Rob's store, Kayak Adventures sounds much more like what MAXGARCIA has in mind than W...

Re: Speed bumps are fighting back
I hear ya. If my in-laws didn't live in Mangawhai I wouldn't bother going to that s#*thole. The town is a bore and the locals don't seem too bright. The restaurant service is piss poor. The local farmer's markets sell lots of hippy crap, and boating (or kayaking) in the Mangawhai estuary is dicing w...
