Re: streaming USA Netflix from NZ - which 3rd party software?

Yeah, we were happily watching US Netflix using UnoTelly until Netflix threaten to go all legal on them and blocked their proxy.

$15 off Coastguard Membership

Don't make the news (in a bad way) this summer.
Only $100 to join the Coastguard. It will be worth 10x that if you need them.

That's a screen grab so don't click on the links, just go to https://www.coastguard.org.nz/ and check it out.

Fish Everywhere. Narrowneck 06.12.2016

Not really a trip report, just to say I went for a couple of hours off Narrowneck this morning and filled the bin. Caught 14+ snapper. Better sizes than last week with most of them around the high 30's low 40's although one did go 54cm. Had lots of fun with a 72cm kingi and a big (50+cm) ky. I may b...

All on Zman softbaits. Another degree or so in water temp and you would probably catch them on a strip of banana skin.
I use the Abu Garcia C3 round baitcaster reels.

Narrowneck 1st day of summer

Launched at Narrowneck and was on the water at 6:00am. P1030022.JPG Did a couple of drifts between the yellow bouy and the green number 7 marker where I picked up a couple of small ones and a reasonable one that flicked off my lap after I'd taken the hook out. Rookie mistake really. Paddled over to ...

Re: Fishing outing

I can't do tomorrow but if you can do mid-week during the day, we could check out Eastern beach next week as it's in your area (if the weather plays ball). I've fished Eastern beach many times but not for a year or two. Or even Orere Pt if you don't mind a drive. PM me if you're keen.

Re: That Sinking Feeling In the Coromandel...

A (relatively) easy fix as it turned out, but it could have been a lost worse both on and off the water.
