afterr a chat with stephen tapp (thanks stephen) , i was considering changing the transducer for the smaller 83-200 one, but their not suitable for deep water.....so i'm working on a bracket to attach the unit down by the rudder , the only issue i can see is that it may come out of the water in chop...

trying to fit a lowrance dsi transducer to pf pf400 (not lite).........its too big for the scupper unless i fit it sticking 10mm proud of the bottom of the yak! (ideal for smashing on rocks) an alternative is to chop the rudder blade about and fit the transducer to that, it may cause more drag but s...

never kill what you dont use. i usually kill cuta, ive been told they have very poor survival rates so i use them for bait.

hey guys, the chart (online) shows a "pin" off okato, it looks like it has potential...but probably see's some attention, does any one know it?.... is it worth fishing? does anyone know the coordinates for it?.............. i wonder it may be worth dropping in on it whilst having a troll for tuna??
