Hi guys Too many comps? If you are good at comp fishing give it a go! (I am not! :$ even tho I enjoyed my 2 comps in Oct up the Coromandel. ) With the increase in the number of yak fishos in recent years (and the expected continued increase) ..... I am sure there will be no shortage of those willing...

....I recognise the handsome looking, out of focus chap on the Stealth.....

  I'll blame the out of focus bit on the camera - tho I may have still had it on 'macro/closeup' for my small fish! :$

I thought this guy's trailer was good too - he was at the Coromandel Gold Rush

A much 'smaller' setup overall - with not as much storage, but still a good design - easy access. Good rod holders if you have 2 piece rods.

He made his up too

Re: How Do You Release a Tangled Drogue ??

That exact thing happened to me during the Viking Invitational & I was heading out to sea!! The line had twisted really badly & it was caught at the rear of the yak, so I didn't have a chance in hell of fixing it!! I tried radioing Shelley & Stuart to help me but I had unknowingly knocked the radio ...

Re: Suggestions for 'Yak trailer

We just had a Yakking Social here in Tuncurry, Mid North Coast, NSW, Australia & this was one of the best yak trailer setups that I have seen!! Thanks guys - hopefully Orty will add his own comments soon!! This is the bream that EVERYONE wants when they come up to Forster, fishing. Re: Orty Crosses the Ditch to catch Aussie fish! Tuncurry near Forster

Some pics taken over the weekend. The flatties that I kept ranged in sizes from about 40cm to 53cm. The biggest caught during the social was 64cm. Here is a nice whiting that I caught on topwater. It was a nice fish, going to 36cm & fighting well. THey are excellent table fish. We usually use line f...
