Re: Freaked out?

This is exactly how I feel. All of this is very new to me but I can either sit home, surf the forum trip reports and live vicariously through the posters or I can get out there and learn and grow comfortable out on the water. 8)

Re: Charity paddle Auckland to Tauranga 10-16 March 2013

Hi there, I can potentially help with landlubber activities on the day you and team push off from Mission Bay and then on the Waiheke side. Only just bought a kayak and it's a recreational one at that so I'd be more of a dift chute than a paddler in this situation. Faster on land and very organized!

Re: North Shore based club?

We purchased a recreational kayak that has been modified for fishing, this way we can take the kids out. The husband is less keen but he tends to get on the band wagon once it starts rolling. Happy to help you with organizing!

North Shore based club?

Hello,

The newest of newbies and curious to know if there is a North Shore based kayaking club. I'm in the Devonport area and very, very new to the sport so would love to find a local club to go out with. Cheers!

Greetings from the newbiest of newbies

Hello, Today we took home our Ocean Prowler Malibu 2 XL. Perfect for taking the kids out and perfect for me to go fishing as DH prefers dry land for fishing. Having grown up in the Bronx, swimming and kayaking do not come natural to me so many swimming lessons and one kayak purchase later I'm ready ...
