Re: Time to wake up members!

As opposed to a sliding free running keeper hook, on the FlexBaiters they are semi fixed, simply and effectively. This eliminates the flying out of control keeper hook flapping about when at close quarters when unhooking your catch. It is a proven method in Aussie on Gummy Sharks which are very acti...

I thought that I had it to myself. Came across it by 'mistake' really but it works a treat!

Re: Time to wake up members!

I think you have some great tackle . I personally would use your pretied strayline rigs . I couldnt see them on your website though . I also like your 2 ounce lumo jigheads but would prefer a stronger looking hook . Check these out KK, http://www.tacklesave.co.nz/index.php?route=product/product&pat...

Re: December '12 Competition - Sponsors > K-Labs and Hot Shotz Tackle

Just working out a shopping list with Little Rob up there in Nelson. Nice to support a fellow southern man so frequently! Thanks all for the opportunity to make our brand more widely known again, pity we couldn't help many of you improve your catch rate (sadly, only the winners of product) who knows...

Re: Sport Circle Hooks

Thanks sk8e8, I'd recommend the Ken'ichi 2/0 being the smallest we have in these at this stage, we will be adding the smaller sizes early in the new year. The 2/0 is a finer gauge but still perilously sharp and strong for a smaller hook. It is the closest comparable shape and style hook to the Musta...

Re: Sport Circle Hooks

And, at your request, I have made mine. Point for your reference, I have not claimed these to be the best in the world, that may be your misguided interpretation of my information, but, I said long ago, enough talk, enough cynical comment, enough tall poppy bashing, get out and try them. Have a Happ...

Re: Sport Circle Hooks

Oops, I omitted a comment on your claim re Wasabi Hooks. Youvella are an excellent hook and for years we used them on our rigs, never had any issue at all in the 11 years we have been producing and we use some Youvella's in one or two of our rigs currently, on the specific request of some retailers....

Oh and for the record Mastercaster. I'm not belittling your product.More trying to find out a little more about it. Re: Sport Circle Hooks

So the question is being your own brand what were they before they were packaged all pretty like? since it sounds like they are considered a reputable brand? Or am I a little off on that? You are entitled to ask whatever you need to know. In this case, the hooks are Korean manufacture, unbranded, b...

Whats the steel like? is it going to break or straighten on a good fish. These are High Carbon Chemically Sharpened and as said earlier, I personally rate them. Ask Kevin off thread if need be, but I won't blow my own trumpet about my background in the tackle trade, but when I rate tackle, especial...
