KAYAK STORAGE Mine is hoisted directly from car roof up to the carpot ceiling. I have 4 galvanised EYE BOLTS about 25 mm dia eye screwed into joists at 2 metre seperation and at 1/3 kayak length from each end to prevent hogging. 25 mm wide tapes are pulled thru the eye bolts WITHOUT PULLEYS. I just signed on yesterday after buying a kayak . I`m a senior of 69 years , in good shape. Would like to find someone in the Titirangi area who might accompany me on the Manukau. Have never boated on it just the odd swim.
