A bit late but thanks for weighing machine info. So far have done about it. paddle feels light in comparison to propel I have been using.

I am trying this project with advice from HLD. Will post a few ham fisted photos of my progress later which should give hope to all in doubt of their skills. Puriri Bay at Whangaruru North Head is a sheltered DOC campground with easy access to the water. :beer:

I've tried posting a PM to HLD and the page shows it was sent and it also shows it in the outbox and in the sent box under the outbox nothing shows. How can I tell if it was sent>

Tuna jerky prepared by crew on tuna boat. Skipjack marinated and dried in tropical sun I got the idea from them and tried Trevally jerky. Was past terrible so when visiting another boat asked how long to marinate tuna. 15/20 minutes was guessed,so I’m sure my attempt of 24 hours marinating did it no...

Found ling need a day or so on ice to firm up. Steak and barbecue or fry. Small mako, steak and barbecue. Sometimes were sold as broadbill in USA. Small hammerhead, steak and barbecue. Scallops, mussels and most shellfish on barbecue. Have only ever landed small hammerheads or mako on small vessels....

I did a compass swing on a boat that fished for blind eels to go to the Korean market. They must have some secret preparing method as they are a bit revolting to the eye. :puke:
