Re: Level 3 Fishing or not.

It was a bit lonely at Pilot Bay to start just before 0800. After 1/2 an hour or so two peddle Hobies arrived. Saw one other smaller type paddle kayak headed into the chop on Northern end of Pilot Bay as the other 3 of us headed back. 3 legal pannies plus an acrobatic kahawai for a couple of hours. ...

Re: Greenland paddle build

Just looked at this site again. My last 4 Western Red Cedar boards at about 90mm x 20mm x 2400 were from a glass and timber place in Matamata. If you let me know I can find the address for you. I’ve used 2 for paddles and now with lockdown have started 2 more paddles.🎣

Have rushed ahead on a couple of steps which did not help but am getting the idea and the next one should make more sense. Any goof ups are al...

Re: Yummy/Awful uncommon fish

Tuna jerky prepared by crew on tuna boat. Skipjack marinated and dried in tropical sun I got the idea from them and tried Trevally jerky. Re: Pukerua Bay still firing!

I did a compass swing on a boat that fished for blind eels to go to the Korean market. They must have some secret preparing method as they are a bit revolting to the eye. :puke:
