Nah upside down, tie downs rather than ratchets, don't leave it there permanently, and you'll be sweet (y)
I've used cradles on plastic kayaks and had more issues with them than when it was just upside down without them - denting in the summer and leaving black marks on the hull.

but seriously they were just made from 6mm or 8mm PE sheet so if you can't find one head to your nearest Warehouse and buy a plastic chopping board, cut it down to size, drill the holes you need, and you'll be sweet!
