Re: streaming USA Netflix from NZ - which 3rd party software?

Use Opera browser. It has a built in VPN. Using a built in German VPN Server I can access German Netflix. Cheers Peter Cool, I tried that on Linux when that feature was only available in Opera BETA, but didn't work for me. Don't know if it was the BETA version or the Linux version or the human, but...

Re: Wheeleez Kayak Trolley

I agree with FOM. I had a look at different trolleys. Disregarded the Wheeleez straight away because of the price. You can buy a cheap kayak for that sort of money. I am using a $50 trolley off trade. So far so ok-ish. Mainly used it on compacted sand. Even pulled the yak up the steps at Taipa Beach...

Re: Greenland Paddle

Thanks guys my curiosity is growing. I will ask Max when he will be at the market and will update this post here with the date.

By the way, if anyone visits the Old Packhouse Market in Kerikeri make sure to say hi. I am the baker at Flour Power <end of commercials>

Greenland Paddle

Hi people, I did a search and found a discussion from 2012 about these paddles. A guy I know, Max Love is making those now. He is an excellent wood worker, you should see his kayak he made. Anyway, he says he gets them down to 600 grams. He will hopefully show his paddles at The Old Packhouse Market...

Rear well cover - where to attach?

Hi yakkers, sorry I didn't post that often here in the last couple of months. Too busy baking bread and Christmas stollen . As a baker this is my busy season. But - wohoo - I have been out once. Umm but better not talk about it. I discovered one of the basic kayaking rules: "If it isn't attached to ...

Trip Reports by region

Just an idea (that's how I usually get into trouble, :$ ) I am going through the trip reports and I would be especially interested in the area I usually would go to fish (if I would go fishing that is, lol). But the trip reports are all over the place. Has anyone ever thought about a system where tr...
