Hi Al. Missed your earlier post but if the offer is still there I'm keen to meet up when time/weather permitting...

Re: Slow jigging rod and reel

I have a Daiwa Blue Backer and legalis LT setup Whats your opinion on the drag, at a lighter setting with your legalis LT reel ? I'm looking at either one of those or the exceler reel in the 2500 size for an ultra light strayline outfit in the 2kg mono line class I have the 4000 which is a lot more...

Re: Sullivans 7/3

Modified Albright is easy to tie on the Kayak and relatively thin through the guides... I tie FG before I head out, and if I need to retie on the yak, I hit the ModAlbright.

Re: Knots damaging guides?

I try and set up FG knots on all my rods before I go... A nice luxury of time and space... Quite hard to tie on the yak, so use modified Albright which is pretty fast and lower profile than double uni. To be honest, the only knots that have damaged guides for me is the double uni.

Re: Looking for a Viking profish GT

I am looking to upgrade my GT to a Reload... SOLD! Green - Purchased last year as slightly shop-soiled. Shop smoothed out a few bumps. I am keen to buy the Reload and then swap the Tackle Pod from my GT (Which I want to keep) with the new one. I would also want to keep the running rig. So this would...

Re: Ripped Off

Completely gutted for you!! What a horrible experience! I have been taking years to get my stuff together... Upgrading here and there... To think someone gets something for nothing is always the biggest disappointment!!!

Sorry that this has happened to you!

Re: Cheapest good polarised sunnies - got any good sources please?

I brought abuot 4 pairs from Ali Express and they are good enough to bash around in, but the lens coating comes off after a few bumps and bruises. I have had 4 pairs of the same Shimano offerings for $40 - I still love them. I want them to float though... 1 pair came off when I turned my head quickl...
